“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” (Psalm 118:22-23, Amp)
I am still studying these verses, so I haven’t got thoughts together yet. There is a lot I’d like to say, but for the time being I will share some other Scriptures. This passage is quoted a number of times in the New Testament.
Anyhow, I’m way too sleepy to tackle this now, so I let the Word speak for itself!
Here are some references:
Matthew 21:33-44; Mark 12:1-11; Luke 20:9-18 (all the same parable); Acts 4:5-12; 1 Peter 2:1-10.
And some other references that are not direct quotes, but imply the same thing:
Isaiah 8:14; 28:16; Zechariah 4:6-10; 10:4; Matthew 16:16; Acts 2:29-36; 3:11-26; 5:27-32; Romans 9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:10-11; Ephesians 1:15-23; 2:19-22; Rev 21:14.
Well, that’s it for a night… better be off to bed! The morning should bring a clear head.
Bless ya!
