“The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.

What a mighty God we have!!
He uses His right hand to fight for us!…. which makes me think, Who is on the Father’s right hand?…..
…..JESUS!!
He, the Son, is the Father’s “Right Hand Man”. He is the One who has brought us the victory through His death and resurrection.
So in our tents… and our bodies are referred to as tents (2 Cor 5:1-8)…. our hearts rejoice!! As Jesus said before he died:
“I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy. 21 It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world.
22 “So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy. 23 At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. 24 You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” (John 14:20-24, NLT)
And we can celebrate the victory won….
“But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.” (2 Corinthian 2:14, NLT)
“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” (Colossians 2:13-15, NLT)
So…….
………. REJOICE!!!!!!

Victory in Jesus…ONE of my favourite hymns.
In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvation—an aroma redolent with life. But those on the way to destruction treat us more like the stench from a rotting corpse.
